Equipment and exclusions

Match workouts to the kit you actually have.

Workouts are built from the equipment you tell the app you have.

Gym profiles

On the Train screen, open the My gym selector and choose Manage profiles. Select the equipment available to you and save it as a profile — for example a home set versus a gym set. Bodyweight is always available. The active profile you pick on Train changes what the generator can choose.

Equipment is grouped as Weights, Machines, and Space & stations, each with a clear name and icon. Bikes are distinguished by type — an air bike (moving handles) versus a bike ergometer (fixed handlebars) — because they are not interchangeable; if you previously saved a generic “Bike”, the app asks which one you have rather than guessing.

Movement exclusions

You can exclude specific movements you want to avoid. Excluded movements are never selected, and a compatible alternative is chosen where one exists.

An honest no-match

If your equipment, time, and exclusions leave nothing suitable, the app says so clearly and suggests what to change — a different duration, more equipment, or reviewing your exclusions. It does not invent an unsuitable workout to fill the gap.

Single-implement and pair requirements are respected; selecting one dumbbell does not imply a pair.
